Non-Spicy Chicken Roast

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Chicken medium curry cut
  • 135 gm Tomato Paste
  • 2 Tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 6 Tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 800 gm Onion thinly sliced
  • 4-7 Nos Green Chili slit

Instructions
 

  • Into a pot on medium heat, pour 2 tbsp. oil, followed by chicken, tomato paste and soya sauce. Mix thoroughly. Cover and cook until it's 3/4th done.
  • Into another pan, on high heat, add the remaining oil, onions and green chili and Sauté with a pinch of salt until translucent and nicely softened.
  • Add the sautéed onions to the pot with the partially cooked chicken. Check for salt. Cover and cook till the chicken is done.
  • Boil uncovered for a few minutes until the extra liquid is reduced(for a roast-style chicken). For Semi gravy chicken curry: Add some hot water according to your preference.
  • Non-Spicy chicken roast is ready to serve. Enjoy with rice or roti.
