To bake on the stove top, Preheat a heavy bottom pan or kadai with a stand or ring placed inside on low flame for 10 mins. Lightly grease a 6 inch cast iron skillet with butter.
Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips, unsweetened chocolate, oil in the microwave at 30 secs intervals mixing in between and set aside.
Beat well the egg, vanilla essence and sugar together in a small bowl.
Add a small amount of the slightly cooled melted chocolate mixture and whisk to combine.
Pour the egg mixture into the melted chocolate and mix thoroughly. Stir in flour, baking powder, sea salt.
Transfer the chocolaty brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake for approx 35 mins. Make sure that you don’t over bake the brownie. A skewer inserted in the center WILL NOT come out clean but it will have the traditional and beautiful crinkly crust on top.
