Food for Soul

Seek the LORD, all you humble of the land, you who do what he commands. Seek righteousness, seek humility; perhaps you will be sheltered on the day of the LORD’s anger. – Zephaniah 2:3

Nations, as a whole, have chosen to walk away from God. They have chosen to follow after false gods, rejecting God and doing their own thing. This is building up God’s judgment and anger against them.

There is coming a day when Jesus will return. In that return, two things will happen: one is that He will pour out His judgment upon the earth. The other is that He will take all His people with Him.

Every person is sinful and cannot save himself, he is in need of a savior. One must humble Himself and seek God. God has revealed this Savior in Jesus. Every believer must keep their eyes on Jesus and seek His righteousness. As one seeks His righteousness, he is being humble, acknowledging that he cannot save himself.

You may or may not be saved from physical danger in this life, but you can know that you will be saved from eternal condemnation. You will be sheltered from the day of God’s wrath upon all sin, if you are trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ for your salvation.

Seek Him today while He may be found, while there is still time. Know the love and salvation that God has for you today.

God bless you!!
